Bring the kids for this active family letterboxing adventure! We’ll search for the hand-created stamps other hikers have hidden along the trail, using their clues to guide us. The trail will take us along the Bay Circuit Trail and up Mount Gibbs to the gorgeous Beebe Pond in the northern section of Callahan State Park. If you have one, bring your own journal so that you can record the stamps you find. Black ink and paper will be provided.
Cancels for rain. Wear close-toed shoes and layers and bring sun screen, water and snacks as needed. Adult must accompany child. To register, email AMCOutdoorsRx@outdoors.org.
Driving Directions
Meet at the parking lot on Edmands Road. Look for the Callahan State Park sign on the south side of Edmands. You will pass the Stearns Organic Farm if you are coming from the east right before you arrive at the lot. If you are coming from the west, you’ll see the park headquarters on your right before arriving at the lot.
