Join this family hike to see the “witches caves,” an area steeped in the history of the Salem Witch Trials. This forest once belonged to Governor Danforth, who may have allowed the victims of the trials to escape to his land. Come enjoy the changing leaves, rolling trails, and history with the kids. Learn to sing family-friendly songs from the Colonial period and learn about the Nipmuc tribe, the original inhabitants, whose language stays with us today.
