At the Appalachian Mountain Club’s (AMC) recent Annual Meeting long time Bay Circuit Trail volunteer Denny Nackoney was honored with AMC’s Volunteer Leadership Award.

The Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) has hired Beth Gula as the new  Bay Circuit Trail Volunteer Programs Supervisor. Gula is tasked with developing and implementing a variety of new trail stewardship programs for the 57 communities surrounding the BCT.

AMC Cartographer Larry Garland covered the entire trail this past spring, hiking boots on and packing a high-tech global positioning system (GPS). Read more >>
