Explore the Bay Circuit Trail, one of Boston’s premier recreation destinations, with AMC.

Join AMC Staff for a cross-country ski adventure on the Bay Circuit Trail in Andover, MA. If there is no snow, we will hike the trail. Be prepared to ski or hike for a full two hours and be sure to bring snacks, water, and wear proper gear. Afterwards, enjoy a special winter treat of hot chocolate or tea.
Specific trailhead location and directions will be sent to registered participants about a week prior to the event. We will determine the activity of the day as we get closer to the date.

The 220-mile Bay Circuit Trail stretches around Boston from Newburyport all the way to Duxbury! First proposed in 1929 by Benton MacKaye and Charles Eliot II, the Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway is a 220-mile outer “emerald necklace” linking 57 Boston area communities in Eastern Massachusetts and providing open space and recreational opportunities to metropolitan Boston.
