The Merrimack River Trail in Lowell is overgrown and we advise trail users to follow this alternate route from point L on the Map & Guide. (shown below in purple)
0.0- Exit the trail at Burnham Rd. and turn right on River Rd.
.31- Veer left at Raven Rd.
.85- Turn right on Andover St.
1.05- Turn right on Rivercliff Rd. and veer left on E. Merrimack St.
1.7- Turn right on Stackpole St.
2.3- Cross Brown St and continue at point M on Map & Guide.
