This year, AMC and the Bay Circuit Trail are partnering with Minuteman National Historical Park in Concord, MA to celebrate National Public Lands Day on September 29th! The Bay Circuit trail passes through a portion of Minuteman, and we are thrilled to partner with them this year for one of our Saturday Work Parties!
From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, volunteers will participate in a variety of tasks throughout the park. Volunteer activities will include raking trail sediment, seeding, clearing sediment from around the trail, erosion control, and general trail maintenance. Tools (including rakes, trowels, and shovels) will be provided. Work is appropriate for participants of all ages.
Refreshments, pizza, and free t-shirts to the first registrants will be provided courtesy of our generous event sponsor, Vibram USA.
